We’ve been running it for a while now and although it doesn’t resolve all outstanding known problems does appear stable. We’ve been told by Microsoft rollup 7 and 8 are planned for release this year. I’ve started to receive the following error whilst trying to manually track an email being sent to a customer. Screenshot of the error received in the application log. An error occurred while promoting a Microsoft CRM e-mail message. Restart Microsoft Outlook and try again. HR=0x80040237. Context=. Function=CMailItemHelper::HrPromoteMailItemInCrm. Line=1668. It seems many other people have the same problem and that Microsoft have acknowledged it as a defect which was introduced through client rollup 4. Apparently a workaround to the problem is to downgrade to rollup 3. See other posts at the following link. ...
